- Go to the company in person and meet the owner and management team.
- Look at the limo condition and even smell the inside. How old is the limo you are looking at and how many miles are on it. Is it beat?
- Walk around the outside and look at the condition.
- Check their rating at the BBB.
- Google their name and see what comes up and look past the homemade reviews. (REMEMBER If it sounds like a commercial it probably is)
- Is the company available when you call, or are you working with an answering machine and a part time company?
- Ask the company if the limo you reserved is the one that will show up on your special day.
- CONSUMER BEWARE – There are many limo companies that don’t own limos on the internet. They will take your money and hire the cheapest local car they can find and send it to you.
- If calling around and they don’t return your call in a reasonable time that should put up a red flag.
- Some unethical companies will double book a limo and show up with an older and sometimes worse condition limo. Are you protected?
- NEVER NEVER NEVER shop on price alone, take a few moments and do the above so you won’t be disappointed on your wedding day.
