Advice For the Bride & Groom
Here is some useful advice for the bride & groom to keep in mind to help avoid a very stressful problem on your special day.
Go visit the company you’re considering hiring in person and meet the owner or management and see the vehicle(s) you’re interested in.
Look at the vehicle condition in and out and even smell the inside. How old is the vehicle you are looking at and how many miles are on it?
Google the companies name and see what comes up, look past any homemade reviews. (REMEMBER If it sounds like a commercial it probably is)
Is the company available when you call, or are you working with an answering machine or having your calls screened?
While calling around if companies don’t return your call in a reasonable amount of time that should raise a huge red flag.
Some small unethical small companies will double book a vehicle because they received a higher rate on a different trip then they may cancel you or may show up with a different vehicle. Are you protected?
NEVER, NEVER, NEVER shop on price alone, sure you may have saved a few dollars, but it really won’t matter when there is a problem on your once in a lifetime wedding day.
CONSUMER BEWARE – There are many companies on the internet that don’t even own any vehicles. They show you stock images of vehicles and they will offer you amazing rates and take your money. Then they will go behind your back and hire the cheapest vehicle that they can find that may not even match the one you chose. Often, it’s coming from a neighboring state and sometimes the vehicle doesn’t even show. We know this only because we get many “can you please help us our wedding limo has not shown up for our wedding” calls the morning of.
