Advice for the Bride & Groom

Useful advice to keep in mind before you book wedding transportation, so a stressful problem does not find you on your special day.

advice for brides & grooms to avoid a problem on your wedding day

01

Visit the company in person

Meet the owner or management and see the vehicle you are interested in.

02

Inspect the vehicle

Look at its condition inside and out, and even smell the inside. How old is it and how many miles are on it?

03

Look past homemade reviews

Search the company’s name and see what comes up. Remember, if a review sounds like a commercial, it probably is.

04

Call them

Is the company available when you call, or are you talking to an answering machine or having your calls screened?

05

Watch the response time

If a company does not return your call in a reasonable amount of time, treat it as a red flag.

06

Ask about double booking

Some small companies double book a vehicle when a higher-paying trip comes along, then cancel or send a different vehicle. Are you protected?

07

Never shop on price alone

Saving a few dollars will not matter when there is a problem on your once-in-a-lifetime wedding day.

Consumer beware

Some websites do not own a single vehicle

Many companies online show stock photos and offer amazing rates, take your money, then hire the cheapest vehicle they can find. It may not match the one you chose, it often comes from a neighboring state, and sometimes it never shows up.
